Privacy policy
How this website handles your data.
Last updated: 14 June 2026
This policy covers the website at impossible-labs.io, including the software-delivery pages. It is deliberately short, because the site collects almost nothing. We advise organisations on data sovereignty; it would be self-defeating to run a tracking-heavy website.
No cookies, no analytics, no tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. There are no third-party trackers, no social-media pixels, and no embedded content that phones home. Every asset — fonts included — is served from our own domain, so loading a page contacts no one but us. That is why you saw no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. Like any web server, the platform automatically processes standard technical request data so it can deliver pages and protect against abuse. This typically includes:
- your IP address;
- the page requested and the time of the request;
- your browser type and operating system (user-agent).
We do not use this data to build a profile of you, and we do not combine it with anything else. It is processed by Google as our hosting provider on our behalf. In the interest of the candour we advise our clients to expect: Firebase Hosting is operated by Google, a US-controlled provider, so this limited log processing is itself an example of the dependency this very site discusses. We keep it to the technical minimum, set no cookies, and load no third-party assets — and we would be glad to talk through the trade-offs of a fully EU-hosted alternative.
When you email us
The only way to contact us from this site is the “Request a briefing” / “Book an intro call” links, which open your own email client addressed to info@impossible-labs.io. There is no contact form, so no form data is transmitted through the website itself.
When you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send — your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We use it solely to reply and to discuss a possible engagement. We keep correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose and do not sell it or share it for marketing.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it. To exercise any of these rights, email info@impossible-labs.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Who is responsible
The data controller for this website is Impossible Labs, Amsterdam, Netherlands. For any privacy question, contact info@impossible-labs.io.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be obvious; we are not going to bury anything in legalese.
